As we are doing some of our shoots on location i have found similiar images from an editorial in vogue italia with a similiar aestetic to get ideas and inspiration.

Location ideas continued..

As we have decided our do's and dont's of student life we have to decide on different locations for each different theme we are using.

For our location shoots :

When we are doing  the shoots out side we have decided to go for an outside park or wooded areas.

Me and Rosie went to Avenham Park on Thursday Afternoon to take some test shots of locations and ideas here are some of the photos...
Aswell as doing some test shoots over Avenham park i also suggested that we come down to mine to do some test shots as i felt avenham park has been used and done to many times and tthere is some woods and forests around mine so i took some photos to show how it looked .

Magazine

We have discussed ideas for a magazine choice and because we are going for a real student life look and aestetic we want to find a magazine suitable for this type of work.We dont want it to be to high end fashion because it's not its more low budgetstudent still documentry. After researching into different magazines i looked into NYLON as i looked at some of the editorials and felt they work well with our type of aestetic.

Here are some examples of NYLON editorials to get a feel for the type of look we want.

The Model (s)

As our theme is about student life and we are including a friend within the shoot we are going to have a total of  2 models altogether .

Neither models have had any modelling experience befor which i think is perfect for our shoot as we dont want it to look to posed and thought about we want to have a relaxed model look .

Hair And Make up Ideas..

For Our shoot as we want a grunged up student look i think that hair and make up should be quite dark and rugged. For example big hair and smokey eyes here are some examples of what sort of look i want..

i quite like the dark smokey eyed effect for the model to fir in woth our grunged student theme but i dont know if it will fit in well with location shots outside i will have to do some test shots to see.

I really like the styles above and think they would work well with the sort of look we want whether we will be able to achieve the looks i dont know!!

Rebekah Roy

I also came across Stylist Rebekah Roy who has a great student style feel to her images. I really like her style and aklso feel it is reflective to the student gruunge look we want.

Alexandra Fullerton

I really like the styling on theses shots styled by Alexandra Fullerton and i think they would be perfect for our night out student shots. I think they capture a story and they are vampy yet classy at the same time.

As a group we have decided to go for a grungey student look for the model to fit in with are student life theme. I have been researching into stylists and magazine shoots to get ideas for our styling..

I come across this stylist Aradia Crockett and i really like her work London fashion stylist Aradia Crockett is experienced in styling both menswear and womenswear. Her growing list of credits include commercial and editorial  fashion shoots. To book Aradia for a fashion styling or personal shopping. I think it reflects our stundent sytle we want and this type of styling could work well with our student life theme.
